Nettie Jackson, longtime Ansonia resident, entered into eternal rest on March 18, 2011, just 11 days before her 101st birthday.
She was born in New Haven on March 29, 1910, daughter of the late Lyman & Mammie Dow.
She was a longtime active member of The Star of Bethlehem Church in Ansonia.
She was predeceased by her son Kenneth Jackson Sr., husband Joseph Jackson, four brothers Fred, Clarence, David & Lyman Dow and sisters Viola Goldson & Mammie Marrow.
She leaves to cherish her memory her son Franklin Jackson of Ansonia, grandson Kenneth Jackson Jr., great grandchildren Kierron Stanley & Nicole Coleman and devoted great niece Geraldine Maynard.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 23 at 11:00 a.m. from The Star of Bethlehem Church in Ansonia.
Friends may call on Wednesday, at church, 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. before the service. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Ansonia.
