Nicholas O. Widomski, 25, tragically entered into eternal rest on November 1, 2015.
Nicholas was born in Bridgeport on January 20, 1990, loving son of Lori Widomski McHugh and her husband Scott of Hamden and Ozie Mikel of Ledyard.
A resident of Brattleboro for most of his life, He was employed as a cook at the Flat Street Pub in Brattleboro, VT for several years. Nicholas lived and loved life to the fullest. He was fun, optimistic, free spirited, and gifted with many talents and best described as a “true hippie”. He was a slack rope walker, juggler and amazing sketch artist. His works of art can be found throughout Brattleboro.
In addition to his mother, father and step-father, he is survived by brothers, Isaac Widomski of Shelton and Joshua Zuckerman of Hamden, sisters, Sara Zuckerman of Chicago, Leah Zuckerman of NC and Honee Mikel of CT, maternal grandparents, John and Joan Hackett Widomski of VA and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends in Brattleboro.
Everyone that loved Nick is welcome to attend visiting hours on Monday November 9, 2015, from 4 – 7 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. At 7:00 pm, a funeral service in celebration of Nicholas’s life will take place. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
