Noel D. DeScheen, age 75, of Shelton entered into rest on September 23, 2024 in Bridgeport Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was the devoted husband of 49 years and best friend to Sandra (Shaw) DeScheen. He was born in New Haven on December 25, 1948 son of the late Raymond and Doris (Dudley) DeScheen and was a resident of Shelton for many years.
Noel was a carpenter who was employed with Wright Brothers Carpentry for many years until his retirement. He was a jack of all trades, who loved helping people. He liked to travel and attend fairs and flea markets. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, antique cars and attending car shows.
In addition to his loving wife Sandra, he is also survived by his two daughters Joanne and Julie, his two sisters Sara and Lorelee, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers Billy Ray, Joey, Joel, Tony (Raymond) and two sisters Edie and Artemisia.
Friends may call on Monday Sept. 30, 2024, from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton. His funeral service will be held on Monday at 6:30 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Bill Florin, First United Methodist Church, Shelton. For those who wish to attend, his burial will take place on Tuesday at 11:00 am directly in Riverside Cemetery, 308 River Rd. Shelton.
