Nora “Aunt Nora” Fedorey, 97, of Seymour, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Tuesday morning September 21, 2010, at the Griffin Hospital following a short illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank T. Fedorey.
Mrs. Fedorey was born in Ansonia on January 14, 1913, daughter of the late Michael and Theresa Ubaldi Micheli. A resident of Seymour for 46 years, she was employed as a seamstress for several shirt and garment manufacturers throughout her career. She was a former volunteer at My Sister’s Place in Ansonia and enjoyed baking, cooking, and especially her family.
She is survived by two sisters, Ann Micheli of Ansonia and Rose Lane of West Haven and several loving nieces and nephews. She was known as “Aunt Nora” to most everyone she knew. She was predeceased by brothers, Secundo, Nicholas, Gene, and Louis Micheli and a sister Sally Marinelli.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend her funeral service and celebration of her life on Saturday September 25, 2010 at 11:00 am in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. Aunt Nora will be laid to rest in Mt. St. Peter’s Cemetery in Derby. Visiting hours will also be held on SATURDAY MORNING from 9:00 am until the service begins.
