Norma C. Keenan, age 84, of Derby entered into rest on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Lord Chamberlain Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was the devoted wife of the late Michael P. Keenan. Norma was born in Derby on June 9, 1937 daughter of the late Victor and Mary (DeNigris) Casini and was a lifelong Derby resident. She was a nurse at Hewitt Memorial Hospital than Marshall Lane Manor for many years until her retirement. Norma and her husband enjoyed gardening and loved to travel with their family and friends. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her family.
Norma was the beloved mother of Gayle (Robert) Dorosh, Michael (Elisa) Keenan, Jr. and Jeffrey (Mary Beth Gilmore) Keenan and sister of Victor Casini, Francis Casini, Steven Casini, Gloria Cavallaro and the late Mary Jane Falcioni. She was the loving grandmother of Justin (Tessa) Dorosh, Jonathan Dorosh, Megan (Chris) Tokarz, Kelly (Cristian Damian) Keenan, Lauren Keenan and Tyler Keenan and great grandmother of Emilia Dorosh and Luke Damian. Norma was also survived by her best friend Ann Mongillo and several nieces and nephews.
On Saturday, April 30th, friends may call at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St., from 8:00 to 9:15 AM. Her funeral procession will leave at 9:15 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Mary Church for Norma and Michael.
