Olga Helen Vinci

Olga Helen Vinci, 98, of Ansonia, beloved wife of the late Joseph R. Vinci, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Thursday morning September 16, 2010, in the comfort of her home with her beloved daughter by her side.

Mrs. Vinci was born in Derby on May 6, 1912. She was employed as a seamstress at the former Slim Fit Dress Company in Shelton for many years before her retirement in 1980. Olga was a member of the Assumption Church in Ansonia and enjoyed sewing and visiting a good tag sale.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Dorothy I. Magda of Ansonia, two grandchildren, Norma Santora of Derby and Kenneth Magda of Beacon Falls, three great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren and many nices and nephews.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a son Dominick Vinci, a son in law Joseph Magda, a brother, and a sister.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday Sept. 18, 2010 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. 

Private burial will take place in Mt. St. Peter’s Cemetery in Derby.
