Owen D. Jennings Sr., age 75, entered into eternal rest on November 18, 2021, at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He was the beloved husband of the late AnnMarie Brezak Jennings.
Mr. Jennings was born in Derby on May 17, 1946, son of the late Owen R. and Betty Davies Jennings. A lifelong resident of Ansonia, he managed several auto parts supply stores, was a security guard at the former Farrel Corp. in Ansonia and drove for Dattco Bus Company in New Haven, until his retirement. A proud veteran, he honorably served in the United States Army during Vietnam. Owen loved history, especially the Civil War era.
He leaves to cherish his memory, a son, Owen D. Jennings Jr., a daughter, Michelle Moscato (Dominic) of Ansonia, sisters, Dale Ranno of Derby and Judy Jennings of Ansonia and grandchildren, Jessica Moscato and Tyler Moscato of Ansonia.
A private funeral service followed by United States Army military honors and interment will take place in the CT State Veterans’ Cemetery in Middletown, CT.
