Pasquale Colapietro, age 81, entered into eternal rest on August 2, 2022, at Saint Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Giuseppina (Giordano) Colapietro.
Pasquale was born in Formicola, Naples, Italy on August 24, 1940, son of the late Angelo and Rosa Catone Colapietro. A resident of Ansonia for sixty years, Pasquale worked as an HVAC mechanic then later was employed as a sheet metal mechanic for Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford, until his retirement. His hobbies included wine making and tending to his garden and fig trees. Pasquale was happiest when spending time with his family, especially when they were all together for Sunday dinners.
In addition to his wife Giuseppina, Pasquale leaves to cherish his memory, children, Salvatore Colapietro (Kimberly) of Bethany, Rosa Connors (Timothy) of Seymour, Michelina Calabro of Seymour, Giovanna Jones (Christopher) of Shelton and Angelo Colapietro (Jodi) of Girard, Ohio, sisters, Michelina DiLorenzo of Ansonia and Alfonsina DiRubba (Antonio) of Derby, grandchildren, Christopher Connors (Larissa), Pasquale Colapietro, Andrew Connors, Isabella Calabro, Giovanni Colapietro, Sophia Colapietro, Gabriella Jones, Brady Jones and Dustin Colapietro and great-grandson, Carter Connors, brothers-in-law, Lucio Giordano (Elia) of Orange and Gaetano Giugno of Ansonia along with several loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Giovanni, Giuseppe and Antonio Colapietro and sisters, Christina D’Errico and Angelina Catone, in-laws, Salvatore and Michelina Giordano and sister-in-law, Maria Giugno.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family and pay their respects on Sunday, August 7, 2022, from 1:00 – 4:00 pm in the chapel of SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. On Monday, all are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial, meeting directly, at 10:00 am at Holy Rosary Church, 10 Father Salemi Drive in Ansonia.
