Pasquale M. “Patsy” Pietrangelo, age 87, entered into eternal rest on November 11, 2018, at Griffin Hospital. He was the beloved husband of the late Josephine Arbona Pietrangelo.
Mr. Pietrangelo was born in Derby on October 17, 1931, son of the late Pasquale and Carmella Romano Pietrangelo. A lifelong resident of the Ansonia community, he retired as a Quality Inspector for the Dept. of Defense at Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford. A proud veteran, he honorably served in the U.S. Army during WW2. He served as a 5th Ward Alderman for the City of Ansonia for many years. Patsy was happiest when surrounded by his loving family and enjoyed trips to the casino.
He leaves to cherish his memory, daughters, Mary-Jo Lucke and her husband Paul of Ansonia and Patricia Ryan and her husband Gerald and his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, grandchildren, David Piccolo, Patricia Crisante, Kory Cook and Paul Lucke, great-grandchildren, Isabella, Sophia, Gianna, Jayda, Josephine, Hailey, Autumn and Kali, great-grandson, Markell and canine buddy, Pookie.
Visiting will take place on Wednesday morning, November 14, 2018, from 8:00 to 9:30 am in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia. Interment with U.S. Army military honors will be in Mt. St. Peter’s Cemetery in Derby.
