Patricia A. Thomas, age 74, of Waterbury peacefully entered into rest on Monday April 26, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late Daniel Thomas. She was born in Derby on August 10, 1946 the daughter of the late Anthony and Emma (Gambaccini) Monaco. Patricia worked at the Life Touch Photo company for many years prior to her retirement. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, doing various arts and crafts, gardening, and spending time with her dog Jake.
She is survived by her son Scott Thomas and his wife Jennifer, her daughter Janine Altamirano and her husband Cesar, her grandchildren Evan, Noah, Katherine, Emma and Lucy, and her brother Richard Monaco. She was predeceased by her sister Judy Chevarella.
A walk through visitation will take place on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 from 9:30 – 10:30 am at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St. Derby. Visitors are required to wear masks and social distance as they walk through, pay their respects and exit without lingering to ensure all guests can come through. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am in St. Mary’s Church, 212 Elizabeth St. Derby. Entombment will follow in Mt. St. Peter’s Garden Mausoleum.
