Patricia Mary Catherine Persson, age 95, of Shelton, entered into rest on Sunday, June 22, 2025 at Bridgeport Hospital. She was the devoted wife of 73 years to the late David A. Persson. Patricia was born June 9, 1930, daughter of the late Raymond and Bertha (Flynn) Mann, and lived in Shelton for most of her life.
Patricia was a devout Catholic and a devoted full time wife and mother. Together with her husband, Patricia worked tirelessly to run both a successful business and loving home. Patricia raised 11 children and played a huge role in the upbringing of each of her 38 grandchildren.
Patricia’s legacy of faith, love, devotion and keen eye for business spans several generations.
She is the beloved mother of Edward Persson (Peggy), Gail Tibbetts (Wallace Campbell), Glen Persson (Jo-Ann), Cherri Novack (Bill), Leslie Watton (David), Mary Scuilla (Louis), Christine Turner (John), Raymond Persson, and Daniel Persson (Jody), and was blessed with 38 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Sheila Persson, her son David Persson, and her brother Jack Mann and Willard Mann (Junior).
On Wednesday friends are invited to go directly to St. Margaret Mary Chuch, 50 Donovan Ln. Shelton, for her Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery Shelton.
