Paul J. Prosnick, age 72 of FL and PA, formerly longtime Shelton resident, entered into eternal rest on September 19, 2012 in Seymour, surrounded by his loving family.
Paul was born in Mt. Carmel, PA on April 2, 1940 to the late Paul and Agnes (Thomas) Prosnick. He worked as a Tool and Die Maker for various companies, finally retiring from Avco Textron. He spent much of his life traveling between CT, FL, and PA. Paul especially loved spending time in PA, where he owned and cultivated a farm.
Paul is the loving father of Paul J. Prosnick, II. and his wife Charmaine, Mark Prosnick and his wife Leah, Cary Ann Hodosi and her husband Bill, and Dawn Bouchard and her husband Mike; the brother of Michael Prosnick and Maryann Klimkowski; and the nephew of Annamarie Thomas and Dolores Skumanich. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Paul was predeceased by his son, Robert Prosnick.
His funeral services will be private for his family in PA. Memorial contributions may be made in Paul’s memory to the Center for Cancer Care at Griffin Hospital, 135 Seymour Ave., Derby, CT 06418. The Edward F. Adzima and Riverview Funeral Homes are entrusted with the arrangements.
