Peggy Anne Kuzia, 87, entered into eternal rest on December 14, 2014, at Hospice of the Valley in Phoenix, AZ. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Kuzia.
Mrs. Kuzia was born in Ansonia on April 8, 1927, daughter of the late William and Anna Wasik Kucejko. A resident of Seymour for fifty years, she was employed as a Registered Nurse at Hewitt Memorial Hospital in Shelton for 25 years, until her retirement. Peggy was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Ansonia and an avid gardener.
She is survived by a son, Edward Kuzia of Scottsdale, AZ, three daughters, Ann Kuzia of Bethany, Kathleen Press of SC and Robin Illing (James) of Cornelius, NC, 9 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Peggy’s Memorial Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday January 24, 2015, at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Church, 32 Jewett Street in Ansonia. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, Sherman Home, 5801 E. Mayo Blvd, Phoenix, AZ 85054.
