Peter C. Guliuzza, age 64, entered peaceful rest on December 9, 2022, at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport.
Peter was born in Derby on September 29, 1958, beloved son of Margaret Sampieri Guliuzza of Seymour and the late Charles J. Guliuzza Jr. A lifelong resident of Seymour, Peter was the owner and operator of Valley Lockup Self Storage in Seymour since 2002 and was employed as an over the road tractor trailer driver for Santa Energy in Bridgeport. He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers. Peter was a proud licensed helicopter pilot who enjoyed flying with family and friends. Peter was a Harley Davidson enthusiast who also loved his Hemi Dodge Challenger and his Hummer. He liked to vacation and took frequent trips to Daytona and Myrtle Beaches. His favorite hobby was model trains.
In addition to his mother, Peter leaves to cherish his memory, a daughter, Amy Moretti (Everton) of Milford, a sister, Angela Haddad (Ray Bartomeli) of Seymour, grandchildren, Giovanna and Amelia, nieces and nephews, Jessica Walsh (Christopher), Kenneth Haddad (fiancée Lindsay Neville), Porsche Matejek, Taylor Silva, and Stephen Manillo, along with several great nieces and great nephews and countless friends. He was predeceased by his sister, Charlene Manillo.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at 12:00 pm, meeting directly, at Holy Rosary Church, 10 Father Salemi Drive in Ansonia, for a Mass of Christian Burial.
