Peter H. Gregg, age 86, husband of the late Vivian Saulters Gregg and resident of West Haven, entered into eternal rest July 19.
He was born in Bennettsville, S.C., son of the late Willie & Iola Crossland Gregg.
He worked as a machinist for Farrel Corp. in Ansonia and also as a chauffeur for Crompton & Knowles of Stamford. He was a very active member of the Macedonia Baptist Church in Ansonia.
He is survived by his daughter Germaine Gregg of West Haven, his son Riley Gregg of New Haven, his sister Selma Perry & brother Douglas Gregg, both of S.C., 3 grandchildren Durval Gregg Solomon of New Haven, Datania Gregg of West Haven & Rasheemah Greg of New Haven and great granddaughter Kenya Gregg of Waterbury.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at The Macedonia Baptist Church in Ansonia. Friends may call at church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. before the service. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
