Peter M. Flynn, age 65, of Ansonia, entered into eternal rest on December 12, 2017, at Griffin Hospital, surrounded by the family he loved. He was the beloved husband of Denise Clifford Flynn for 31 years.
Peter was born in Waterbury on October 28, 1952, son of the late William and Joyce McMahon Flynn. Peter was a graduate of the University of New Haven. He was an entrepreneur who started his own property management company in the early nineties that is still in business today. Peter grew up on the beaches of Milford and loved the ocean. He was an avid golfer, fisherman, gardener, exquisite cook, and had a love for books. He enjoyed visiting New York City with his family, attending Broadway plays and fine dining. Peter will be remembered for his humor, wit and undying devotion to his family. He will be dearly missed.
In addition to his wife Denise, he leaves to cherish his memory, a loving son, Ryan P. Flynn of Los Angeles, CA, a loving daughter, Stephanie L. Flynn of Ansonia, a sister, Marcia Cooke of Ridgefield, a caring brother-in-law, Kevin T. Clifford and his wife Diane of Seymour and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, William Flynn.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday December 16, 2017, from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. At 3:00 pm, a funeral service in celebration of Peter’s life will take place with Deacon Thomas Clifford officiating. Inurnment will take place at the convenience of the family in Mt. St. Peter Mausoleum in Derby.
