Peter S. LeMay, age 76, of Ansonia, entered into eternal rest on January 2, 2018, at Griffin Hospital.
Mr. LeMay was born in Derby on April 23, 1941, son of the late Joseph and Helen King LeMay. He was employed as the finance manager at several different companies throughout his career including Farrell Corporation in Ansonia. Peter was an avid sports fan and enjoyed deep sea fishing and golfing. He was a member of the Norwood Athletic Club in Ansonia.
He is survived by sisters, Annette Conlon of GA and Judith LeMay of FL, cherished nieces and nephews, Joseph LeMay (Cynthia) of Shelton, Steven LeMay of Ansonia, Alan LeMay of FL, Denise Coogan (Raymond) of Hamden, Michele Mazzeo of Branford, Peter and Paul Conlon of GA and Melissa Kaplan of FL, several great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins and many close friends. He was predeceased by a brother, Joseph K. LeMay and a nephew, Christopher Conlon.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday January 5, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. On Saturday, his funeral will begin at 9:15 am from the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia. Interment will immediately follow in the family plot in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery in Derby.
