Mr. Phillip H “Pete” Ainsworth, Jr., age 72, of Glastonbury and formerly of Seymour, entered into eternal rest, on June 19, 2012 at Middlesex Hospital.
He was born on May 24, 1940 in North Adams, MA and was the son of the late Phillip and Elizabeth (Pettibone) Ainsworth. He enjoyed participating in the Special Olympics for many years.
Mr. Ainsworth is survived by his brother, Robert (Nancy) Ainsworth of Oxford and his sister, Sara Mandala of Bennington, VT, a niece and nephew and his housemate, Ricky.
The family would like to thank his caregivers, especially Sandra and Shirley for the compassionate care given to him.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W Church Street, Seymour. Interment will be held in private.
