Pierre Roberge, 49 years old of Derby, CT passed away peacefully August 14, 2017 at Griffin Hospital with his loving mother by his side.
Born in Derby, CT to Renee Roberge and the late Gilles Roberge of Ansonia, CT. He resided with his long time companion of 30 years, Lucy Rut and their children Nicole and Kyle Roberge, all of Derby, CT.
Survivors in addition to his mother, companion, and children are his sister Cathy Roberge-LaRowe (Kenneth LaRowe) of Ansonia, CT, his companion’s mother and brother, Maria Rut of Derby, CT and Robert Rut (Jessica Krentzman) of Shelton, CT. Pierre was a life long skilled carpenter working for himself as well as many contractors. He was predeceased by his father Gilles Roberge and his companion’s brother, Wesley Rut.
The family would like to thank the compassionate staff of Griffin Hospital for their care of Pierre.
A Memorial service and celebration of the life of Pierre Roberge will be held on Friday, August 25th at 7:00 p.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia, CT. (www.jenkinskingfh.com) Friends may call from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
