Ralph C. “Pop” Merithew age 64, husband of the late Pamela Merithew and resident of Oxford, entered into eternal rest at home on January 1, 2016.
He was born in Toyko Japan on December 6 1951, son of the late Ralph and Kazuko Kamada Merithew and worked as a salesman for RO-Brand Products Inc. in Plainville, CT.
He leaves to cherish his memory his two sons Ralph Merithew Jr. and wife Joyce & Jason Merithew & wife Jennifer, all of Seymour, siblings Lloyd Merithew & wife Robyn of Apex, N. Carolina, Kay Downs & husband Curt of Bethany, Carol O’Donnell & husband Edmund of Oxford and James Merithew of Naugatuck, grandchildren Marissa, Alex, Logan & Jason Merithew, all of Seymour and several nieces & nephews.
Friends may call on Wednesday Jan. 6 from 4:00 p.m.to 7:00 p.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. (http://www.jenkinskingfh.com/) Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 7 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with interment following in Mountain Meadows Cemetery in Seymour.
In lieu of flowers donations in Ralph’s memory may be made to a scholarship for for his grandchildren through the funeral home.
