Ralph P. Rossetti, age 83, entered eternal rest on November 26, 2023. He was the loving husband of the late Jean Cole Rossetti.
Ralph was born in Derby on April 2, 1940, son of the late Joseph and Mary Albarella Rossetti. He was a resident of Beacon Falls since 2019, previously residing in Derby. Ralph was employed by SAAB Scania in Orange, US Electrical Motors in Milford and retired from Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford. A proud Veteran, Ralph honorably served his country in the United States Army. He was member of the Oxford Senior Center, the Men’s Club at Pond Spring Village in Beacon Falls, and a former member of the Sons of Italy in Derby. Ralph loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. His most enjoyable hobby was playing setback and pinochle. Ralph was an avid fan of the New York Giants, the New York Rangers, and the New York Yankees.
Ralph leaves to cherish his memory, sons, Frank J. Rossetti (Beth) of Milford and Craig A. Rossetti (Laura) of Seymour, a brother, James Rossetti (Marilyn) of Oxford, grandchildren, Alec Rossetti, and Marc Rossetti both of Milford and Bryan Rossetti of Seymour.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family and pay their respects on Monday, December 4, 2023, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm in the chapel of SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. At 7:00 pm a funeral service in celebration of Ralph’s life will take place with Deacon Victor Lembo officiating. On Tuesday morning, December 5, 2023, all are invited to attend committal prayers by meeting directly at 10:00 am at Mount Saint Peter Mausoleum, 219 New Haven Avenue in Derby.
