Ralph T. Rossetti

Ralph T. Rossetti, age 79, entered into eternal rest on March 30, 2018, at Griffin Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Diana Carlino Rossetti.

Mr. Rossetti was born in Derby on July 25, 1938, son of the late Andrew and Theresa Kobziak Rossetti. He graduated from Bullard Havens Technical School in Bridgeport in 1956 and enlisted in the U.S. Army before being honorably discharged in 1959. A resident of Ansonia for many years, he was employed at the former B.F. Goodrich in Derby, Stone Safety Corp. in Wallingford and retired as the Seafood Manager from Big Y in Ansonia. Ralph enjoyed fishing and was an avid fan of the NY Giants and UConn Women’s Basketball. 

In addition to his wife Diana, he is survived by loving sons, Andrew Rossetti (Janet) of Oxford, Dana Rossetti (Krista) of Seymour and Matthew Rossetti of Ansonia, a brother, Richard Rossetti (Joanne) of Hamden, a sister, Veronica Tarini (Eugene) of Derby, cherished grandchildren, Christopher and Isabella Rossetti and Nicholas Rossetti, with whom Ralph shared a special bond and several nephews. 

Visiting hours will be held on Monday April 2, 2018, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. On Tuesday, his funeral will begin at 9:15 am from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia. Entombment with U.S. Army military honors will follow in Mt. St. Peter’s Mausoleum in Derby.
