Raymond Galanin, a 70-year-old Seymour resident, entered into eternal rest at Yale N.H. Hospital June 21.
He was born Sept. 9, 1944 in Norwalk, son of the late Edward & Alice Wakeman Galanin.
Raymond graduated with an Engineering Degree from University of Bridgeport and worked as an electronic engineer for ITT Technology, Shelton, Ct. He was a Vietnam Veteran, serving in the army and was a Civil War enthusiast.
He leaves his close friend Diane Hyslop of Stratford, and was predeceased by close friend James Hyslop. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 9th at Our Lady of Grace Church with burial following in St. Michael’s Cemetery, both in Stratford.
