Raymond Wooster Wilkinson, age 67, of Mulberry, Florida entered into eternal rest on October 29. He was the husband of Elaine Ayres Wilkinson.
He was born November 27, 1944 in Waterbury, CT., son of the late Raymond and Myrtle Wooster Wilkinson. Formerly of Derby, Conn. he was a Florida resident since 2000. He graduated from Derby High School class of 1962 and was a member of the Second Congregational Church in Derby. He worked as a machine operator for 33 years at Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford retiring in 1999.
In addition to his wife of 21 years, he is survived by his son Daniel Wilkinson and his wife, Liz, two daughters, Jacqueline Hurlburt and Audrey Wilkinson all of Waterbury; his brother David Wilkinson and his wife Cynthia of Beacon Falls, his sister Ann Ryan and her husband William of Oxford; grandchildren Casey and Joshua Hurlburt both of Waterbury; step children Garry James Bouchard of Waterford and Lori Martino of Naugatuck, and four step grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 9 at 10:00 am at the Second Congregational Church, 136 Elizabeth St., Derby. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery in Oxford.
