Renee A. Pawlak, age 58, passed away on November 27, 2021, peacefully surrounded by family and friends, after a most courageous battle. Her zest for life will be remembered with much love by all who knew her. Her family will continue to honor her life by living theirs to the fullest.
Renee was born on September 1, 1963, daughter of the late Frank and Marjorie Andrew Pawlak. She was a resident of Ansonia for most of her life before residing in Seymour. Renee was intuitive and wore many hats. Early in her career, she was employed at Stop and Shop, then worked at Wachovia Bank for many years and most recently she was employed as a customer service representative with Quadient, in Milford, formerly Neo-Post.
Renee enjoyed the simple pleasures of life that brought her joy, such as spending time with her family and friends, her fondness of Bar Harbor Maine and traveling to her special places in Vermont and Massachusetts with her son. She could also be found exploring new routes for fall foliage along the Litchfield hills or taking an afternoon jaunt around the beaches of Connecticut.
Renee leaves to cherish her memory, a loving and devoted son, Brett M. Pawlak of Seymour, a brother, Kenneth Pawlak (Cheryl) of Ansonia, a sister, Terri Ptak (Mark) of Seymour, special niece and nephew, Brooke and Owen Pawlak of Ansonia and many cousins, extended family, and co-workers, whom she held close to her heart. She was predeceased by a most special uncle, Harold Andrew.
Relatives and friends may greet the family and pay their respects on Saturday, December 4, 2021, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm in the chapel of SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. All other services will be private. Masks will be required for entry into the funeral home.
