Renee Bradley

Renee M. Bourque Bradley, age 55, of Seymour, the beloved wife of the late Leonard Bradley, entered into eternal rest peacefully after a brief battle with cancer on Friday, August 10, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. 

She was born in Derby on September 29, 1962, the loving daughter of Jacques and the late Melina (Capitanio) Bourque. 

Renee graduated from Derby High School, class of 1980 and dedicated over 35 years to women’s health offices, most recently as a receptionist at Women’s Health ObGyn in Shelton. In her spare time, Renee could be found watching the Yankees, scrapbooking, visiting her daughters and their furry children, Luna & Bella, or traveling with her sister. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends but they will always carry her memory with love in their hearts. 

Renee’s loving family, in addition to her father Jacques, includes her daughters Taylor Bradley (Andrew Russell) of Newtown, and Melody Bradley (Joe Ayerve) of Ansonia, her sister Patrice Bourque” Baldwin, her father-in-law Robert Bradley, her brother-in-law James Baldwin, her nieces Nichole, Kara, and Emily Baldwin and many cousins and in-laws. She was predeceased by her brother Thomas Bourque, sister-in-law Doreen (Ferla) Bourque and baby brother Francis Bourque. 

A Memorial Service in Celebration of Renee’s Life will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 7:00 pm in the chapel of the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank Street (Rt. 67, across from Klarides Village) Seymour. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until the start of the service at 7:00 pm. All other services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family to defray medical costs or to Connecticut Hospice through the funeral home.
