Richard Jordan, age 72, of Seymour entered into rest on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at CT Hospice with his loving family by his side.
He was the beloved husband of 49 years to Joan (Granger) Jordan. Richard was born in Derby on July 9, 1947, son of the late Paul and Helen (Folta) Jordan.
He was a Procurement Specialist for UTC for many years before his retirement. Richard enjoyed golfing and trips to the casino.
Most of all, he cherished spending time with his family.
Richard is the beloved father of Christopher Jordan and his wife Ana and Michael Jordan and his wife Nicole and sister of Elizabeth Marrone and her husband Jay. He is the loving grandfather of Lucas, Ella and Lucy and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
On Thursday, friends are invited to go directly to Holy Rosary Church, 10 Father Salemi Dr., Ansonia for his Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m.
His burial will follow at Mt. St. Peter Cemetery. The Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton is entrusted with his arrangements. Friends may leave condolences at http://www.riverviewfh.com.
