Richard T. Perkins, 58, of Seymour, formerly of Colebrook, NH, peacefully entered into eternal rest on March 7, 2013, at Griffin Hospital in Derby.
Mr. Perkins was born in Greece, NY on September 7, 1954, son of the late Edward W. and Charlotte J. Wager Perkins.
Richard was a resident of New Hampshire for over 20 years, prior to moving to CT.
He was employed as a self-employed painter.
Rich loved spending time with his family and friends, had a great sense of humor and was free spirited. He enjoyed playing darts, was a member of the Valley Dart League in CT, and rode his snowmobile at every chance.
He is survived by a loving and devoted sister, Sharon K. Sanford (David Luby) of Seymour, a brother, Gary Perkins (Theresa) of FL, nieces, Heidi Behlman (Tim) of Naugatuck and Cheryl Loyer of FL, nephews, Daniel Sanford of NC and Robert Perkins (Tammy) of NY, great-nephew, Zachary Perkins, loving friend, Deborah Noyes of Colebrook, NH, and many friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family and celebrate Richard’s life on Saturday March 16, 2013, from 12 noon until 2:00 pm at the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia, CT. Interment will be private.
