Richard T. “Vic” Veckerelli, 71, of Beacon Falls, peacefully entered into eternal rest on June 29, 2011, at Griffin Hospital. He was the loving husband of Carol A. McKee Veckerelli.
Mr. Veckerelli was born in Bridgeport on Sept. 14, 1939, son of the late Anthony and Muriel Lorraine Veckerelli. He was a resident of Beacon Falls for 22 years and previously lived in Shelton. He was employed for 55 years as a millwright for Carpenter’s Union Local 210 formerly of Bridgeport. Vic was a member of GWTA Valley Riders Motorcycle Club and enjoyed camping and traveling.
In addition to his wife Carol, he is survived by a son, Anthony Veckerelli of Tyler, TX, 2 daughters, Triest Blocker (Roger) and Michele Veckerelli and her companion Kurt all of York, SC, a brother, Ronald Caro (Arlene) of Knott Island, NC, 2 sisters, Madeline Sheehy of Shelton, and Darlyn Levesque (William) of Safety Harbor, FL, 4 grandchildren, Jason, Christina, and Rachael Blocker and Anthony Veckerelli III, brother-in-laws, Ronald McKee and his partner Frank McCully of Leesburg, FL, and Wayne Kichar (Tammy) of Shelton, uncle, Bruce Butler of Bridgeport, aunt, Gemma Veckerelli of Brookfield, best friend, Henry Card of Seymour, and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Saturday July 2, 2011, at 10:00 am in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia.
