Robert A. Burgess, a 58 year old resident of Shelton, entered into eternal rest June 22.
He was born in Bangor Maine May 1, 1956 to the late Clayton Burgess & Louise Clement of Bristol.
He worked as a carpenter for Griffin Hospital in Derby and was an avid motorcyclist.
He is survived by his fiancée and the love of his life, Deidra Salemme and her daughters Brook & Tiffany. In addition to his fiancée & mother, he leaves to cherish his memory two sisters, Christy Benham of Bristol & Catherine Stewart of Waterbury, three brothers, Ronald Burgess of Ansonia, Michael Burgess of Lisbon, CT & Brian Burgess of Naugatuck, and several nieces, nephews & cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Clayton Burgess Jr.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 26 at 10:00 a.m. at Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia, CT. (http://www.jenkinskingfh.com) Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
