Robert “Bob” Scodari, age 65, entered into rest on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center with his loving family by his side. He was the devoted husband of Karen (Montana) Scodari. Bob was born in Brooklyn, New York on June 3, 1958 son of the late Joseph and Grace (Rincione) Scodari.
He was a Chief Financial Officer for many years at Better Packages in Shelton, CT. Later, he worked as CFO for The Forman School in Litchfield, CT for 8 years until his retirement. Bob was a sports car enthusiast and enjoyed attending car shows.
He was the beloved father of Ryan Scodari and Kendall Scodari and his wife Elisabeth and loving grandfather of Melody Scodari. Bob was also survived by his brothers Joseph Scodari and his wife Ruth, and Charles Scodari and his wife Luann, sister-in-law Diane Montana, brother-in-law Mark Montana and his wife Sharon, and sister-in-law Irene Brennan and her husband Dermot, as well as 11 nieces and nephews, 6 great nieces and nephews, many aunts, uncles and
cousins.
Family and friends may pay respects on Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM and Sunday January 21, 2024 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton, CT. On Monday, January 22, 2024 the funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 AM for his Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St. Margaret Mary Church, 50 Donovan Lane, Shelton, CT. His burial will follow at Mt. St. Peter Cemetery.
