Robert N. Hubinger

Robert N. Hubinger, 68, of Seymour entered into eternal rest on Friday Dec. 24, after a brief illness. 

He is the husband of Anne McCabe Hubinger. Born in New Haven on Sept. 7,1953 son of the late Robert N. and Edith (Lopatkiewicz) Hubinger.

Bob was employed in the Quality Control Dept. of Claremont Inc of Durham. A communicant of the Church of the Assumption, a member of the Nocturnal Adoration Society, Graduate of Amity High School, a coach for many years in the George Hummel Little League of Seymour. He was very active in the former St. Anthony Church and Men’s Club of Ansonia. 

Survivors besides his wife daughters Jessica A. Hubinger and her husband Michael Rinaldi of Seymour Kristen (Duane) Fitzmorris of Seymour grandchildren Kolby, Aidan, Jackson, Sawyer Fitzmorris , Jade and Landon Rinaldi. He was predeceased by his son Christopher Hubinger.

With the rise in covid 19 cases the family will omit public calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend his mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday Dec. 28 at 1:00 p.m. in the Church of the Assumption 23 N. Cliff St. Ansonia. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Peters Cemetery Derby. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Assumption School in care of the Bennett Funeral Home 91 N. Cliff St. Ansonia, Ct. 06401
