Robert R. Thompson IV, age 30, of Shelton, entered into rest on Tuesday, June 28, 2016. He is the cherished son of Robert R. Thompson III and Theresa (Minardi) Thompson. Robert was born in Bridgeport on January 8, 1986, and was a lifelong Shelton resident.
He was a Shelton High School Class of 2004 graduate, where he was a three sport athlete. Robert worked as a supervisor for W.B. Mason and enjoyed playing adult rec softball and basketball. He loved the outdoors and spending time with his family.
He is the beloved brother of Denise Reyes (Miguel) and Lauren Thompson, and is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Angelo and Georgina Minardi, four nieces, Michayla, Diana, Marissa, and Daniella, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Robert R. Thompson Jr. and Cecilia Thompson, and his cousin Sean Bertanza.
Friends may greet the family at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, on Sunday, July 3rd, 2016 from 1 to 4 PM. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home on Sunday at 4 PM.
