Robert S. Turziano

Robert S. Turziano, 80, peacefully entered into eternal rest on June 25, 2017, at Shelton Lakes/Apple Rehab.

Mr. Turziano was born in Bridgeport on November 11, 1936, son of the late Joseph and Josephine Vitale Turziano. He grew up in Bridgeport and resided in Derby for many years. Robert was employed at the Farrel Corporation in Derby and retired from the Jewish Home for the Elderly in Fairfield. 

He is survived by a brother, Joseph Turziano of Monroe, daughters, Kimberly Conlon (Timothy) of Derby and Madeline Marquis (Gary) of Newington, grandchildren, Maria Conlon-Rinaldi (Carmine), Christina McCourt, Stephanie McCourt, Timothy Conlon (Cristina) and Brian McCourt, great-grandchildren, Layla Ann Rinaldi and Liam Robert Conlon, nieces, Judith Turziano (Tom Emanuel) and their son, Adam Emanuel, Karen Osborne (Ted) and their children, Natalie, Trevor and Kaylee Osborne, a nephew, John Turziano (Debbie) and their sons, Matthew and Nicholas Turziano. He was predeceased by a beloved son, Robert Turziano and a sister-in- law, Florence Savo Turziano. 

Visiting will take place on Thursday June 29, 2017, from 9:30 to 10:30 am in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. At 10:30 am, a funeral service in celebration of Robert’s life will be held with Rev. Stephen Krugel officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery in Derby.
