Robert T. Pritchard

Robert T. Pritchard, a 52-year-old resident of Ansonia, entered into eternal rest October 15. He was born September 8, 1960 in Derby, son of George Pritchard of Ansonia and the late Bridgette Bridie” Brassil Pritchard.

An avid sports fan, he especially followed the N.Y. Giants and worked as a sales representative for Housatonic Lumber in Derby. He graduated from the Assumption School in Ansonia, The Notre Dame High School in West Haven and was a parishioner of the Church of the Assumption in Ansonia.

In addition to his father and a large circle of friends, he leaves to cherish his memory his three brothers, Michael J. Pritchard (Anna) of Smithfield, R.I., and Graham W. & George M. Pritchard, both of Ansonia, his sister Susan P. Magyar (Tom) of Milford, CT., two nieces, Megan Pritchard of Smithfield, R.I. and Bridgette Magyar of Milford, CT. and nephew and godson Michael G. Pritchard of Boston, MA.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, 9:30 a.m., (DIRECTLY) at the Church of the Assumption in Ansonia. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery in Derby. Friends may call on Wednesday, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to The American Diabetes Association through the funeral home.
