Robert W. Doohan III, age 56, entered into eternal rest on January 4, 2022, following injuries he sustained in an automobile accident. He was the beloved husband of Dr. Sapna Tandon.
Bobby was born in New Haven on December 5, 1965, loving son of Sharon Kelsey and Gordon L. Kelsey of Naugatuck. He was the proud owner of Bob’s Construction, LLC, formerly known as Bob’s Up and Over Roofing for many years. Bob prided himself in the quality of his craftmanship and the solid relationships he attained with his customers throughout his years in business. He enjoyed boating, snowmobiling and cars. Bob was a lover of all animals and an avid collector of Hot Wheels.
In addition to his wife and parents, he leaves to cherish his memory, a daughter, Sonia Bobbie Doohan-Tandon of Orange, a brother, John Doohan of Seymour, a sister, Dawn Buckley and her husband Franklin of Ansonia, nieces, Cassandra Doohan of Naugatuck, Samantha Doohan of Seymour and Kelsey Buckley of Ansonia as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Due to the rise in Covid infections, his funeral will be private. A public celebration of Bob’s life will be held in the future and announced by the family. The SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia, has been privileged with the arrangements.
