Roberta Camille Staszewski Wojewodzki Gauthier, age 80, wife of the late Alfred F. Wojewodzki and the late Willis Fred Gauthier, entered into eternal rest at home on August 1.
She was born in Meriden on Oct. 7, 1935, a twin to the late Richard Staszewski. Daughter to the late Raymond C. & Adeline Mucik Staszewski.
She attended St. Stanislaus Grade School and graduated from Meriden High School. She worked for the former ASCOM Hasler Mailing Systems. Upon retirement, she was an office volunteer for CT Hospice in Shelton. She was a lifelong member of The Polish Falcons.
She leaves two sons Peter E. Wojewodzki (Michele) and Paul S. Wojewodzki, all of Ansonia, Her most beloved grandson Peter A. Wojewodzki and step grandson Pasquale DelVento III (John DiPanni), siblings Raymond P. Staszewski (Christa) Harrison, TN, Steven C. Staszewski of Meriden and Carol A. Staszewski of Washington, D.C. and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call on Monday, August 8 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia, CT. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, with a Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, 32 Jewett St. Ansonia. Interment will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery in Derby.
