Ronald M. Mickiewicz Jr., age 45, unexpectedly entered into eternal rest on January 17, 2018.
Ron was born in Meriden, CT on Feb. 8, 1972, beloved son of Ronald M. Mickiewicz Sr. and Patricia Miller Mickiewicz of Oxford. He grew up in Derby and graduated from Derby High School in 1990. Ron was the proud owner of Sky Property Services in Ansonia for fourteen years, a successful business he started from the ground up.
Ron was extremely business oriented and thoroughly enjoyed his work and working and helping others.
He was a self-taught artist who enjoyed dancing, singing, playing the guitar, attending concerts and spending time with his daughter, the love of his life, Elle A. Mickiewicz.
He was affectionately known by his close friends as the “King of New Haven.”
In addition to his parents and daughter, he is survived by his former wife, Joanna “Asha” Mickiewicz of New Haven, uncle, Michael S. Mickiewicz (Linda) of Meriden, girlfriend, Jessica Zoccano and her children, McKenzie and Nathan of Milford, many cousins and countless friends.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday January 22, 2018, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia.
On Tuesday, relatives and friends are invited to meet directly at 10:30 am at St. Joseph Church, 32 Jewett Street in Ansonia for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private.
