Rosalie Yacobacci, age 81, of Fountain Valley, California, entered into eternal rest on November 4, 2023, in her home. She was born in Derby, on May 5, 1942, daughter of the late Secondino and Sophie (Babarik) Yacobacci. In 1963, Rosalie graduated from St. Raphael Nursing School where she went on to work as a Registered Nurse for Saddleback Memorial Center in Laguna Hills until her retirement. She loved being a nurse and recently attended the 60th Nursing School Reunion for her alma mater.
Rosalie is survived by two nephews, Carl Yacobacci, Gene Yacobacci, niece Dorothy Yacobacci, great niece Nicole Yacobacci, and great nephew Christopher Yacobacci. She was predeceased by her brother Thomas Yacobacci.
Friends are invited to greet the family on Saturday, November 18, 2023, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton. Her funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. for her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, 420 Coram Ave., Shelton. Burial will follow at Mt. St. Peter Cemetery in Derby.
