Rosalind Sorrenti, age 89, wife of 65 years of the late Anthony Sorrenti and resident of Seymour, entered into eternal rest Jan. 13, 2019. She was born Dec. 13, 1929, daughter of the late Salvatore and Josephine Siena LoPresti.
She worked as an administrative assistant for Farrel Co.
She was a long serving Chairwoman for the conventions of The Assoc. of Evangelical Italian Missions.
She was also a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother Antonio and grandson Brian.
She is survived by her sister Theresa LoPresti of Southbury, her son Randy Sorrenti (Beth) of Oakville, daughter Judy S. Brown of Prospect, and grandchildren Allison, Jake, Michael, Jesse & Zachary.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, 10:00 a.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. (http://www.jenkinskingfh.com)
Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
