Rose H. Adams, age 90, entered into eternal rest on November 22, 2020, at Griffin Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Clarence E. Adams Sr.
Mrs. Adams was born in Bridgeport on August 29, 1930, daughter of the late Damiano and Angelina Scippa Fino. A resident of Ansonia for sixty-three years, she was employed at Sikorsky Aircraft and later retired from Textron-Lycoming. She was very artistic and liked drawing cartoons. Rose was a member of the Ansonia Senior Center, where she enjoyed playing Bingo and bus trips to the casino.
She is survived by loving daughters, Rosemarie Carlson (Richard) of Beacon Falls, Louise Lewis (Doug Griggs) of West Haven and Elizabeth Adams of Maine, cherished grandchildren, Jason Adams of Barkhamsted, CT, Jennifer Mosman (Stefano Izzo) of Seymour, Kristine Mosman of West Haven and Clarence E. Adams III of Naugatuck, great-grandson, Tony Izzo, a brother, George Fino of Southbury, a sister, Theresa Renzulli of Milford and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Clarence E. Adams Jr., brothers, Dom, Pat, Tony and Louie and sisters, Angelina, Josephine and Susan.
Visiting will be held on Friday morning, November 27, 2020, from 9:30 to 10:30 am in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. At 10:30 am, a funeral service in celebration Rose’s life will take place with Rev. Jeffrey Gubbiotti officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Mount Saint Peter Cemetery in Derby.
