Rose A. (Perruccio) Lesko, 96, entered into eternal rest on March 1, 2017, at Griffin Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph R. Lesko.
Mrs. Lesko was born in Ansonia on October 26, 1920, daughter of the late Louis and Lucy Marchese Perruccio. She was employed as a secretary at the Farrel Corporation for many years until her retirement. Rose enjoyed cooking and baking and was a volunteer at Griffin Hospital. She was also a member of the former St. Sebastian Women’s Auxiliary in Ansonia.
She is survived by loving sons, Joseph W. Lesko and his wife Christine of Oxford and Lou D. Lesko of Woodbridge, caring sister, Anne Krivda of Derby, cherished grandchildren, Joseph Lesko, Patrick Lesko and Nathan Imre, great-grandchildren, Noah, Andrew, Anna and Noel Imre, former daughter in law and friend, Catherine Lesko-Boneski of Seymour and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Angelo and Roy Perruccio.
Visiting hours will take place on Monday morning March 6, 2017, from 9:00 – 10:30 am in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. At 10:30 am, a funeral service in celebration of Rose’s life will be held with Deacon Richard Renker officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery in Derby.
