Rosemarie Toaso, age 84, of Shelton, entered into rest on Monday March 25, 2013 in Griffin Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was the devoted wife of the late Louis G. Toaso.
She was born in Bridgeport on Sept. 26, 1928, daughter of the late John and Rose (Toth) Youhas and was a Shelton resident for over 50 years.
Rosemarie was a cost accountant for 18 years at Sikorsky Aircraft before her retirement in 1979.
Anyone who knew Rosemarie loved her great sense of humor. She was a very giving and kind person who always put others first and loved her pets.
She is the survived by her loving daughter Mary Katherine Toaso, beloved Cat Oleo, many neighbors who she knew for 40 years, especially Maryann and Jim O’Hara and Marge and John Glowa. She was predeceased by a sister, Evelyn Bonaventura.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. with a memorial service to be held at 6:30 pm at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd. Shelton.
