Rosemary Neagle Parisi, age 88, of Shelton, died on Monday, March 2, 2015 at Lord Chamberlain Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Parisi.
She was born in Waterbury on May 29, 1926, daughter of the late Patrick and Elizabeth Thompson Neagle.
Rosemary was a resident of Stratford for 25 years and has been a resident of Shelton for the last 19 years. She was a graduate of the College of St. Elizabeth, New Jersey. She was a member of the American Dietetics Association and formerly Director of Dietetics at Norwalk Hospital and held various positions as a dietician throughout Connecticut, including Carlton Chronic Convalescent and Hewitt Health and Rehab.
She is survived by her beloved children Robert P. Parisi and his wife Stacy and Elizabeth Parisi Whalen and her husband Christopher. She also leaves two cherished grandchildren, Caitlyn Parisi and Cassidy Whalen.
Friends may greet the family at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, on Friday from 3 to 5:30 PM. Her funeral will begin at Riverview at 5:30 PM. Burial at Riverside Cemetery will follow in the spring.
