Samuel Kozak

Samuel Kozak, age 74 of Rocky Hill, formerly of Shelton, passed away March 3, 2015 at the Veterans Home and Hospital, Rocky Hill.

Samuel was born in Derby, August 9, 1940, son of the late William Sr. and Anna Bacha Kozak.

Samuel proudly served his country with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a foreman with Kozak Builders for 15 years and was later employed by Sikorsky Aircraft as an assembler, and C. E. T. A.

He is survived by his brother, William Kozak and his wife Kathryn of Shelton; his aunt, Helen Motel of Shelton; and several cousins.

A funeral service will be held Monday at 9 AM directly at Three Saints Russian Orthodox Church, 26 Howard Ave., Ansonia with Rev. Patrick Burns officiating. Burial with full military honors will be held in the spring at Riverside Cemetery, Shelton.
