Sandra Lee Morgan, age 81, a resident of Derby, entered into eternal rest on April 11, 2021 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport. She was the loving wife of the late Joseph Morgan.
Sandra was born in Towanda, Pennsylvania on August 24, 1939 daughter of the late Hart T. Moran and Nellie Mulcahy. A resident of Derby since 2005, Sandra was employed at the Philadelphia Judicial Court until her retirement. She enjoyed spending her spare time volunteering at Griffin Hospital, quickly befriending staff and fellow volunteers. Sandra was an avid supporter of the Ansonia Animal Shelter and had many pets of her own that she loved dearly.
Sandra leaves to cherish her memory, a loving granddaughter, Alexandra G. Macauda of Derby, sisters, Ellen McKeon of Mountain Top, PA, and Kathleen Hackett of Philadelphia, PA, a son in law, Angelo L. Macauda of Derby, canine buddy, Gizmo and feline friends, Bella, Simba, Scooter and Miso. She was predeceased by her daughter, Kelly Ann Morgan, sisters, Jane Jackson and Inez Lewis and brothers, Richard Moran, Joseph Moran and Theodore Moran.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at 11:00 am at The Church of the Assumption, 61 North Cliff Street in Ansonia. Masks are required and social distancing is expected. There will be no public calling hours. The SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME in Ansonia has been privileged with the arrangements.
