Sharon Ann Howard Lydem, LPN, age 64, of Seymour, beloved partner of the late Phillip J. Stoll, Sr., entered into rest on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at Yale New Haven Hospital.
She was born in Fort Collins, CO on December 12, 1945, daughter of the late Harold and Angeline Howard. Sharon was a graduate of St. Mary Hospital School of Nursing and had also received her Associate Degree in Computer Science.
She was a retired employee of the Caspari, Inc. of Seymour and was a Licensed Practical Nurse, formally employed by the Derby Nursing Home.
Sharon moved to Seymour from Florida in 1965. She was an avid reader, loved to cook, enjoyed craft fairs and loved butterflies.
Sharon will be sadly missed by her family and many friends. Her loving family includes her son Kenneth Lydem of Seymour and her daughter Starr (Sheri) McSherry of Naugatuck, her four brothers Donald, David and Dean Howard, all of South Dakota and Nick Turnbull of Durango, CO, her three cherished grandchildren Randall DeGeorge, Shanna Renkavinsky and Kassi McSherry, three cherished great grandchildren Arturo, Caleb and Noah and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her cherished daughter Kathleen Lydem and her two sisters Lynda Jaensch and Lydia Adams.
A Graveside Memorial Service in Celebration of Sharon’s Life will be offered at 1 pm on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 DIRECTLY at Mountain Meadows Cemetery, Mountain Road, Seymour with the Rev. Robert Booth, Pastor of the Seymour United Methodist Church, officiating.
