Sheila Ann Stalker, age 53, of Derby, entered into rest on Thursday January 19, 2017
Sheila was born in New Milford beloved daughter of Nancy Bryant Barnett, and Ashley Paul Barnett, and has been a Derby resident for most of her life.
Sheila was always willing to help someone in need. She loved crocheting so much she even did it in her sleep. She enjoyed doing crafts, and gardening. She was a volunteer at the Derby Library, and for the Girl Scouts, and was a proud veteran serving in the US Army and was a member of the American Legion in Seymour .
She is the loving mother of Donna Baral (Christopher), the cherished sister of Donald Northrop, John Northrop (Sheila), Karen Olsen (Jim), Butch Barnett, and Mary Arcuri(Adam).
She is the beloved grandmother of Donovan Beck,and also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Sheila is predeceased by George Bacha, whom she loved like a father.
Friends may greet her family on Wednesday January 25, 2017 from 4 to 5:30 PM in the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road Shelton. Her funeral service will follow at 5:30 PM in the funeral home with full military honors. Burial will be private in the State Veteran’s Cemetery Middletown.
