Shirley M. Signore, age 52, peacefully entered into eternal rest on March 23, 2018, in the comfort of her home, with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Ralph T. Signore.
Shirley was born in Derby on Aug. 6, 1965, daughter of the late Joseph and Dorothy Foster Maloney. She enjoyed bird watching, gardening, soap operas, rock & roll, spending time with her loving family and especially watching her son Vinny when he played football for Derby. She was an avid fan of the NY Yankees.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Vincent T. Signore, daughters, Kimberly A. Tovar (Boanerje) and Anna M. Signore all of Derby, step-son, David Hebert of Derby, a brother, Joseph Maloney (Judy) of Southington, a sister, Jennifer Hopson of NC, cherished grandchildren, Natalia and Gabriel Tovar and Dante and Deanna Hebert, several nieces and nephews and her feline friend, Kitty. She was predeceased by a brother, Gordon Maloney and sisters, Sandra and Bonnie Maloney.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday March 27, 2018, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver St. in Ansonia. On Wednesday, her funeral will take place at 10:00 am in the funeral home with Rev. Jeffrey Gubbiotti officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery in Derby.
