Stella Mydlo

Stella Mydlo, 86, of Wakelee Avenue in Ansonia, peacefully entered into eternal rest on December 14, 2010, at the Hilltop Health Center in Ansonia. She was the beloved wife of the late Walter Mydlo. 

Mrs. Mydlo was born in Poland on May 8, 1924, daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Popiolek. A resident of Ansonia since immigrating from Poland in 1964, she was devoted to her family. Stella enjoyed crocheting, cooking, jigsaw puzzles, and especially her grandsons. 

She is survived by two sons, Adam M. Mydlo and his wife Lynne of Seymour and Andrew J. Mydlo of Shelton, a daughter, Christine Bursk and her husband Chris of Melbourne, FL, four grandsons, Nicholas Mydlo and Matthew Mydlo of Seymour and Jake Bursk and Zack Bursk of Melbourne, FL, and a nephew, Gene Popiolek and his wife Sofie of Ansonia. She was predeceased by a brother Chester and sisters, Regina and Antosia. 

Friends and relatives are invited to attend her funeral on Saturday December 18, 2010, at 9:45am from the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Seymour.
